I Hate to be M.I.A.

I haven’t blogged in a week and a half, that makes me very sad. I seriously have a list on my dry erase board of 23 topics I want to talk about, but I haven’t had the time to do so – which is why I am going to tell you what I’ve been up to.

Well for starters – I don’t know where February has gone. I think it really took me by surprise because of that blizzard we had. Columbia’s winter break went all the way through January 24th, so we all really didn’t start school until February because that first week was “syllabus week.”

I’ve been at Columbia for five semesters, now onto my last one, and I can honestly say I enjoy every single one of my classes. I have never said that, and not to mention, it’s the worst, yet best schedule I have ever had. Tuesday-Thursdays for the Columbia classes, but then I study for the crash courses when I am not in those classes. Anyway, all of my classes have taught me many things, and I can’t wait to share those with you.

The good thing is, originally I had 37 credits to worry about this semester – but, I applied for this thing known as Life Experience Credit at Columbia, where I wrote out a whole report and put together a documented presentation of events I’ve been involved with. So far, the marketing communications department cleared me for receiving three credits for this (it would be in replacement of their Special Events Planning and Promotion class).. which means I only have 34 to worry about. 19 at Columbia, and 15 credits worth of crash courses. But, I am waiting on the dean to clear it.

Outside of school, my internship with The Bulls, which I absolutely love. I feel like I haven’t been there for awhile because they had their road trip, and also I had some night classes – but definitely looking forward to this month because they’re back at home a lot. I love the people I work with, and the environment honestly just makes me so happy lol.

In addition to school and The Bulls, of course, GoWhere Hip Hop. I love our team, and I am so excited for the many things happening this year. If you thought the interviews were over – noooppppeee, think again. The intro to that is found in the picture displayed in this post, a video will be coming out soon as well.

And in addition to all of that, there are some projects currently in the works, but I will not be sharing any details. I want these to come out on their own.

I hate to be M.I.A., but at the same time I am as happy as ever. One of my friends was just telling me not to stress myself out, and come to think of it, I’m sure my body is stressed, but I physically don’t feel it whatsoever. I don’t know what’s wrong with me lol, but it feels good. I can’t remember the last time I was actually angry about something, or stressed to the point where I wanted to cry or give up. Nope, not me lol, I think I have a problem?

Well, I am sorry if this was a pointless read for you lol, but I felt like I needed to put something on here because I was seriously slacking on this. I promise I will get something out this week!

Here’s a quote to leave you with for now,

“Learn everything you can, anytime you can, from anyone you can – there will always come a time when you will be grateful you did.”
