I’m sure I am not the only one, or maybe I am – but I cannot stand when I see grammar mistakes on Facebook or Twitter. It’s honestly a pet peeve and everytime I see it I just want to comment the correct way of writing it.
I could go on and on about they’re/their/there or you’re/your, but I will save that for another post. For now, I’ll start with how punctuation marks go inside quotation marks.
I swear I see this grammar error on my feed and all over my timeline, and I got so annoyed that I just wanted to write a quick post lol.
Correct – “This is how to quote someone.”
Incorrect – “This is the wrong way to quote someone”.
The incorrect way looks ugly anyway – so yeah let’s just all start using it the right way. Please and thank you!
