Bone Thugs ‘N Harmony
A couple days ago I was in the studio with Bone Thugs ‘N Harmony as they worked on the video for ‘The Bone Cypher,’ which is produced by DJ Quik.
The reason this night was so special was because all five members of the group were there. We shot two separate videos with them – first, for our HotNewHipHop “What’s my Name” segment where we test people on their hip hop lyrics, and then an interview about the cypher. You’re definitely going to love the “What’s my Name” segment because their reactions to some of the lyrics were truly priceless.
In addition to the stuff with Bone Thugs, I did a short interview with DJ Quik…. while he was in a robe. I’ve never done an interview with anyone in a robe, so it was something different and interesting. First time for everything I guess, huh?
Well, I don’t have any videos to post for you at the moment – so, in the meantime, we have released three episodes of “What’s my Name,” but my favorite is Episode 2. Check it out, and you’ll get an idea of what you can look forward to with our special edition with the group.
